Hello, I just bought a 2001 Blaster and the bike seems clean. I am about to order new Piston,reeds and new muffler but keep the stock pipe. Will I need to jet the carb with these mods.???

yeah, not a whole lot, but why u need a new piston? is the cylinder clean inside? does it look scarred? have u done a comp test? all things to think about and let us know so we can properly advise u. but yes with the mods u will get u will need to rejet, i would do it just because u got the bike from someone else and they could have been a fuctard and not had it jetted right to begin with...

I took the head off today and the carbon build up was thick. and the top of the piston was just a little carbon. Is it ok to clean the head with some like 400 grit sand paper or just clean it.

just ordered a new wiseco standard bore and 2 jets I hope I have the right jets.
35/240 I am only doing small mods for now.
Do you guys think the 35/240 jets will good with stock pipe,fmf tail pipe,v-force reeds and new piston.
