I picked up a free 2000 Yamaha blaster off craiglists in perfect condition from a older couple they did but knoe how to get it started so I got it home cleaned the carb started it rode it a few times then ordered a new carb cause the old one was acting funny before all that happen when I start the bike I have to rev it high just to take off everytime can anyone tell me the reason behind that ??

Is the new carb genuine Mikuni or some cheap knockoff cheap Chinese junk?? Makes Hella difference.!!

No mods at all brand new piston and rings new spark plug it runs fine at idle but when I put it in first gear and give it gas it sounds like it's trying to go but it's not you have to push it slowly let it build up then dump the clutch fast but when it gets past 2nd it's perfect I just wanna know the reason behind it and I will show you the eBay link and who I bought it from http://m.ebay.com/itm/Carburetor-Yamaha-Blaster-200-YFS200-1988-2002-/381563673409?nav=SEARCH
