1999 200 any past 1/4 throttle bogs til death

Wad running finr then in middle of riding jus started bogging in 3rd or higher.and when in 1st or 2nd anything past 1/4 throttle it bogs til it shuts off..any ideas? Changed spark..still did it

Clean the carb out, especially the main jet

Sounds like a restriction in the needle and seat, hindering fuel flow, or crap in the bottom of the float bowl.

First check your reeds. Check carb to make sure the needle clip didn't come off. As allways, do leak down test.

weird thing is i cleaned the carb a fews days before, my friend rebuilt the carb also, he says he didnt adjust any needles. changed spark and no luck i will have to try tou guys recomendations n see what helps thanks

Did the brass washer get put back under the main jet?

Is the float level correct?

Do a leak down test to see if you are sucking air.

yes the washer got put back, and on my 2005 he put a rubber washer what will that do?

Get another look at the carb, could have picked up more crap.

Do a leak down test to see if it is air tight.

Not sure about the rubber washer, maybe it could compress and allow the jet to become loose, I would be fitting a brass one as soon as I was able.
