1998 Rm 125 shock

Does ne one know if a 1998 RM 125 Shock would work on my blaster? Its a really nice Ohlins with a resivoir and I can get it for 50 bucks.

I The bike its on used to be mine and the shock is hard as hell. But mabe diff. on the blaster

IDK if it will work. get it and try it out. If it dont work I am sure you can prolly unload it on CL or Ebay for more than you bought it for. Assuming its aftermarket.

wouldn't be too hard to make it bolt on, but you need to calculate.. take the extended length, mount hole to mount hole and subtract the visible shaft length and compare it to the blaster shock. also take into account the rm is lighter and has a lot greater leverage ratio due to the length and mounting on the swing arm, coupled with the linkage. if the dimensions are close..bolt it on and see what happens.

i would give it a try, them shocks are alot i have 1 on my rm250 and i think they go for around 600 or more..

Ya Iknow they are expensive and I got it for 50 bucks. The dumb kid got in some trouble and needed money. Dont you wish you came across deals like this all the time. lol

I'd sell it on ebay or something and buy a shock that you know will work and some other goodies for your ride.
