Okay, so.. I posted on here awhile back about an issue with my blaster.. Last summer it sucked one of the reeds into the crank, I got it all cleaned out and got new reeds and then I had to replace the rings. It is bored .80 over with a wiseco piston with wiseco rings. After replacing just about everything I can think of and bypassing the TORS system, my blaster acts as if its not getting enough fuel or flooding out... The only thing I am left thinking that could be the problem would be crank seals.. those are going to be replaced soon... Does anyone else have any ideas..? I have been working on this thing for so long I am ready to just have it fixed..

I do not have a leak tester... if the crank seals don't fix it then I will buy one. The carb is freshly rebuilt completely. Fuel is fresh and air filter is brand new.

I needed rings because when the reed got sucked in the engine it took a bite out of one of the rings. Also they were getting pretty worn out.

If replacing the crank seals don't work then I will buy one, thank you.. didn't even know about leak tester until about 5 minutes ago :P

I've already ordered the seals. They should be here in the next day or two. Might as well replace them anyways..

I learned the hard way, FIRST LEAK TEST, then remove suspect seals. Mine was leaking between the casings and I thought it was the crank seal. The leak down test is a must before doing any striping down.

It is critical that a 2 stroke motor be leak tested after any work has been done to it.

Even a minor air leak can cause a lean mixture which is detrimental to health.

A leak test should be performed at least twice a riding season.

So many Guys and Gals visit the Forum asking "what happened to my motor" when a 10 minute leak test would have seen many more hours of pleasurable riding.
