well tomorrow (11-30-2010) is my 16th birthday and i am going to go try to get my permit!! i have already read half of the book so do you guys think i can pass as it is or should i finish reading the book? is the test hard?

if you fail,then you dont deserve to get your license/permit ever...its all common sence my friend...
Most of the questions are common sense but You should probably finish reading the book anyways. I'd hate to see a thread tomorrow titled " I failed because I was too lazy to read "
alright guys just to let you know i drive very good my mom rides with me all the time (even though i don't have my permit and shouldn't be driving) and i don't text...
well maybe you guys arent familiar with the driving thing laws these day but also maybe there diffrent state to state but in VA you get your learners permitt but taking a 35 question test, 10 questions are sign of the roadway and you cant miss ANY of them and the next 25 are "common knowledge" and driving questions and you can only miss 5 of them, i passed the signs with ease but failed the questions about drugs and whats equivalent to what
i failed it my first time cause i didnt no that a can of beer and glass of wine are equal and some drug questions
then you have to take another drivers ed class which is the classroom portion and you learn abunch of stufff and you get a *green card* ha and you have to take your green card to the private instructor for the behind the wheel test
then if or when you pass the drivers ed and behind the wheel test a paper lisenses will be givin and you use that for 180 days till you go to court to get your hard copy lisense, i get my lisences in 18 days, ha

a can of beer and a glass of wine are not equal. beer can range in apv percent of 3.5-50 and wine can range too.
but the average cheapo can of beer is 4.5 percent. and a glass of wine can range in size, but a full glass of wine is way stronger than any beer.
you really have nothin to worry about man...just relax...written is all coomon sence...

Just remember kid, the brake is on the left and the gas is on the right. If your vehicle is rear wheel drive i can disconnect your rear brakes so you can do some sexy burnouts.
in kentucky all you got to do is take your birth certificate and stuff to the court house, take a 30-35 question test with 10 signs, you can miss 6 in total. after the test if you pass it you get your permit and hold it 180 days (6 months) until you get your intermediate liscense (no written test, just a driving test and have your permit with you), then wait another 6 months to get your full liscence (yet another driving test).
happy b day u lil bastard, be carful on them roads, i'm 14, and i can drive better than my 16 yr old brother, he scares the shiz outta me, i cn't wait to get into drivers ed so i can get the permit and get my license earlier
i know i worded that stupid,but reading/understanding the question is the trick...
buddy i have 3 vehicles already. a 1988 ford mustang gt 5.0l stick shift with K&N cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust, a 1990 ford ranger 2.9l (i'm pretty sure) 4 wheel drive automatic, and a 1997 jeep wrangler (not sure of engine size only know it is a 4 cylinder) 4 wheel drive automatic. all of which are rear wheel drive (until you switch into 4x4 on the ranger and jeep)
