Man I:I what a nice bump in throttle response. You guys need to try some of this stuff.I did notice it is running a little lean but i will bump up my main 1 and see how it does.Need to post pic of plug so i can see where i am at in the jetting department.

cool..i knew youd like it ,you cant believe everything you hear about it on the net theres lots of misinformation floating around

I dont have a very good camera for close ups of plug. What color do you like for the plug to be?Light brown or what.Im running a +6 timing also

its 101 octane on our scale ,its only got low lead directly compared to its bigger brother- another aviation blend with 115 (dont use that ) 100ll actually has a good amount of lead in it compared to other race gas products plus it has oxygen additives which is like free horsepower ,some airports sell it for under 3 bucks a gallon you may need to bump up the main a size or two for the extra oxygenation, porcelein should be about the color of a cardboard box and strap should be burnt back alittle over half way , tip of electrode should have a little ring of discoloration on it less than one millimeter ,thats where you figure out your ignition timing also id run +8 degrees on straight 100LL if it was me,av gas burns clean and dry so be sure to use 32-1 ratio for extra protection klotz supertechnaplte works and mixes well with it ,the blasters lowend torque and throttle response should pickup a good deal on 100LL over premium pump if its tuned right

nice thing is the extra detonation /anti knock properties of the lead wil allow you to bump the timing up giving the bike even more midrange performance ,+4 advancment like most guys run is only going to do so much for power ,i say why not get the most benefit of the mod ...igntion timing is often overlooked and can play big role in completing a modifed motors potential, granted for pump fue lyo uhave a limit to this setting but i think the main reason +4 timing is popular amongst banshee and blaster owners is becuase years ago vitos made an easy degree key and came standard in that range,it isnt becuase it is the best timing or makes the best improvement

I:I Thanks for the input Denny .Maybe after i get my jetting right i will play with the timing some more.+8 just sounds like so much but your the one that did my motor work so you would know. What bad effects does the advanced timing have on the motor?rings wear faster or bearings are more stressed or what? Thanks again

it may start a bit harder and it can detonate if your octane is poor but thats rare the blaster ignition is weak from the start IMHO and once you start building them up it doesnt keep up ,you wouldnt build a beefed prostreet Chevelle engine and keep the stock oem chevy distributor cap and wires plugs from the 60's would you ? ,i have customers who ran them well over 10 degrees on drag bikes
jsut watch the plug good your bike will let you know if you listen to it

Well i ran it today and it made some kind of popping noise,it was cold out today, i will post the video clip
