whats the purpose of the drop?

i think if ur taller, it helps u have more room, i would love some more room, alot of aftermarket foot pegs and nerfs make the pegs drop, like if it is heel guard and nerfs with a peg, it will normally drop the peg, i like the idea, but will it work with my nerfs??
