My '04 will not rev up when throttles pushed even all the way in and dies when throttle is let all the way out. Bike ran fine when I first got it but decided to do some mods and after that this problem came up. The only engine mods or even electrical I did was Oil inject block off and air filter and spark plug both made for my bike. Was leaning toward the TORS but when it's unplugged the bike dies instantly. Fuel is mixed at about 34-32:1. Pulled the reeds, their ok. When I cut out the old wiring for the oil tank I thought I had chopped a wire I shouldn't have but checked it against a wiring diagram and all looks to be OK...has anyone been thru this or have suggestions???

are you sure the "parking brake" type thing on your clutch isn't on? that's happened to me before. its easy to put it on and not remember haha I:I
if you have an 04 and you cant just unplug the wires. You have to jump the wires from your TORS Brain/CDI to the wire coming off the carb. That could also be your problem.
Hey all thanks for the tips def appreciate the help..I should probably update my profile so ya'll can see what all has already been done to the bike..MxMaineiac67 I removed my parking brake all together and put block off kit on..coreyownz I pulled the reeds yesterday and also had someone who's familiar with two stroke look at them and said they were ok..doesn't look like there's any space..REEDracing94 do you have the change the jetting when you swap a factory filter for another oem? The old one was covered a whole lot in oil and the new one is lightly oiled so maybe jets do need adjusting, what's ur opinion? fabb3 Isn't the TORS just a engine is running or engine is dead due to throttle stuck (or so it's designed)?? My bike starts and runs just will not low idle and when you give alittle or alot of gas the rpms don't change. Also to if anyone knows..where does the black wire off the ignition coil get attached to, also the black out of the magneto..I tried understanding the wiring schematic but their "ground" isn't very descriptive.
ok well u shouldnt have to change jetting for a nother oem filter but u should probably take the carb off and clean the jets good
