04 Banshee 350 Project

Picked up a road registered banshee 350 in rough condition, rattle can painted plastics, frame & all sorts. Powdercoated fluo yellow parts all over it. Vile looking thing.






Ran well, blew plugs on the left hand side every 3 hours. Nightmare, i like a good project so stripped her down for my own personal touch.





Stripped the motor down, blasted the cases & cylinders.







While stripped, ported & polished the cylinders, over bored 2mm to 66mm, cases currently undergoing work so no pics of those.





Got a Chariot performance coolhead, got that anodized along with my wheel spacers & rear brake block off.







Frame etc went off for powdercoat, all new bearings throughout.

Put +3 +1 fullflight a arms on the front.



Pair of 28mm PWKs





Ordered a new set of maier plastics in black, got my custom graphics ready to go on.

Motor will be rebuilt with a +4 +5mm hotrods crank, wiseco pistons & vforce 4. Making 400cc.

This is where im at so far.

Ditch the boost bottle.

I nice build. Like Larry said, scrap the boost bottle and get a stock x-over tube.

I just put a chariot coolhead on my Banshee last night. They make good products.
