03+ headlight on pre 03

Does anyone know how to install 03+ headlight on pre 03? I noticed my brake cable is in the way of mounting it. Also, my wires are a mess and im not sure which is which because the previous owner deleted the headlight. Thanks in advance.

you have to make a special mounting bracket to support it... im not sure how ive never done it but there are a few members who have

i have the light with assembly. so theres a mounting bracket needed also?

do i need to swap brakes for it to work?

you will have to fab the mount for the head light i dont think you can buy one but like i said ive never done it so not super sure. i believe theres a DIY thread on this swap try looking that up
