02 Blaster Master Cylinder

I have an 02 blaster which is in dire need of a rear master cylinder I bought one off of ebay but the part was described wrong and will no way or shape fit mine. the resevoir is mounted on top not on the side. and it is made by Nissin. I am new to the atv world but know that mine has NO brakes! I ordered a front master cylinder which should be in this week. Thanks! Mike F.

I am pretty sure that you only have rear master cyl for brakes on 03 and up. Just my opinion, unless its aftermarket..

Hmmm, I picked it up from a teen across the road from me who said it was a blaster but had raptor parts had the red frame gave it to his girl friend father painted it pink for her, they broke up he got it back now it's purple go figure. I just need brakes I know it had a hydraulic system on there so now I'm totally confused on what I need!

get us some pictures and we will be able to tell you if it ia aftermarket unit, or a 03-up conversion.

That is kind of what I meant, just that if it was an 02 it would either have to been cable or not stock. 03 and up had hyd brakes..

That pic does not look oem for an 02...So now what do you need..

that looks oem. its got the parking brake thing. you just need a oem master cylinder.

03-up 02 and down had cable brakes.
