01 blaster not starting.....

Ok so as i was riding my blaster,it was back firing a lot after i scraped my back pipe on a wheelie.. i kept riding then, i came to a stop and it shut off. as i try to kick start it, it sounds like it's shooting air out of some where.. Does anyone have any pointers??? thanks.

how bad did you bend the pipe?Make sure its not blocked off from hitting on the wheely.I would check the base bolts tightness on the jug.Check around the base of the jug real good for cracks/breaks.

ok so i looked it over and the pipe and header seem to be fine along with the jug. ok so i noticed i can push the kick start by hand... i don't think that's any good. blown???

do a proper compression test.

x2 On the proper compression test. The test should yield results reading 120PSI or better, but in your case I don't think you'll get those kinds of numbers. Do a compression test and report back. I'd advise preparing your wallet and tools, sounds like a rebuild is coming your way.

You've lost compression unfortunately if you can easily push the kick start by hand.
