    Hi I just rebuilt my blaster and well I had it apart I modded my exhaust. I heard a rattel in the exspansion chamber . So I cut it apart and realized the little cone had fallen off. I decided to cut out the restriction. So today I finished it and took it for a test drive and it runs like crap...

    well I tore the whole thing down today and sure enough I have a huge hole in the crank case. It is mostly on the stator side but the other side was cracked. The exhaust side of the piston broke off. So now I have to try and find another case or weld this one up. The hole is like 3/4 x 3/4 big...

    well the only thing I have done is replace the seals. It has never stopped smoking from when it started at the dunes and quit running. I bought this last fall and i have never rebuilt the top end. So may be I lost some of my piston And poked a hole in my crankcase. I will have to crack it open...

    I agree a leak down test is a good idea but it is burning so much oil so fast that I don't think it is the seal.

    yea I kind of figured the air blowing out the vent tube was a dead give away.

    Hi my 2000 blaster is blowing white smoke. So after doing some reading I replaced the crankshaft seals. The oil is still disappearing fast and I have air blowing out of the vent tube when it is running and oil fill cap. The only way I can get it running is by pouring gas in the spark plug hole...
