In my previous response i assumed that a 129 psi compression was good. Is this the case, what should the compression be?

I just recieved a new CPW 30mm carb that came with 148, 150, and 152 jets. The pilot is 40 i believe. The only things i have changed is a K and N air filter and removed the tors. Should one of these be sufficent or should I order some other sizes and if so what sizes. Thanks Andy

I checked the compression and it was at about 129. So if the compression is good what else could it be?

For the comression tester does anyone know what size i need 16 or 18mm etc..

Ok, after pushing the kickstart down with my hand it does seem to get a little easier as I go down. Does this mean i need to rebuild the top end and if so what exactly does that entail. Do I just need to replace the gaskets or is this somethig i would need an actual machine shop to etc..

I am defintely kicking hard enough. This might be stupid question but if the compression was bad wouldnt it affect it when its running. Once its running it runs great?

No prvious work has been done that I am aware of. The kickstart seems to be working correctly, catches ok and turns the motor just wont start up. It is just hard to get it to start with the kickstart. It is in neutral and does not jump forward.

Hey guys needs some help. I have a 94 blaster that will not kickstart. Can jump start all day but will kill you trying to kickstart it. I just replaced the spark plug and air filter. Once it is running runs well but still wont kickstart after running it for a while. Any Ideas? Oh yeah NO Mods.

Ok I was dead set on getting the Keihin 28mm Carb, now have read some on the cpw 30 mm carb. Which would you recommend? Keihin does not make a 30 mm that i can find. Also I do not have any mods. Just need a new carb and i am planning some things in the futur like exhast, silence, and reeds...

Ok, I am ordering a keihin 28mm carb. I am also looking at taking off the TORS system but the pics on the DYI page are gone. Does anyone have any more pics on how to do this. Also do I have to buy the removal kit and drill into my new carb. First time messing with anything like this and want...
