    Blaster dies after warm up

Don't mind the paint. Bought it cheap. Lolol. If motor is worth saving I'm going to redo it all. Don't want to throw money away. Which I know will happen at some point on these things. I also thought about changing the piston head. Should I keep the rod and crank or just redo it??

    Blaster dies after warm up

Well i checked it before and it was around 105 (low I know) yesterday I checked it. It was barely 60 psi but it held steady. My dad suggested putting some oil down the plug hole to narrow some answers down to piston rings or at least one of the problems. Which it ended up rising to 90 psi. So...

    Blaster dies after warm up

Well Im not having any luck getting any answers on here so I'll try posting this to the general support instead of specific thread. (Don't mean to bombard with multiple posts going to delete the ones that don't pertain anymore) but anyways I was going to get rid of this one because of the...

    Blaster dies after warm up

Sooo 3rd post here lol. Was going to get rid of this one because of the headaches but made a little progress that's worth trying to salvage it. So I have this blaster. Thought it was a 2000 turns out to be a 88 according to the VIN. Not 100% it is but pretty sure. Anyways. Bought it from the...

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Well now it doesn't start at all... Also found the VIN after layers of paint removal and found out it's not a 2000 but a 88. Soo after days and days of messing with it... I'm selling it. No more blasters or four wheelers for that matter. One and done for me. Thanks for the help I did get...

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Must update it seems it has a dg exhaust but stock silencer. I think it's a dg. The badge is kinda pitted and rusted so it was hard to make out

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Also may try a plug chop if I can get it to run long enough. Unless it's not a good idea yet. I'm new to all of this so that's why I have so many questions before jumping in. Knowledge is power!

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Plan to do a compression test tonight or tomorrow as well since someone said when it gets warm and wants to die it could be low compression. I've been curious about the compression myself since i can't always get it to kick start. Any ideas of a good compression range? I saw 110-130 with 100...

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Plug I replaced looked a darker brown to black. Plug was a new plug that was replaced no more then 2 weeks ago when I bought it. If your meaning my temperature. Its been low to high 60s recently. If you mean the quad then I would say it's been normal temps from when I bought it. Couldn't give...

Blaster possibly loading up. No idea why

Hi I just recently posted in here with my blaster. I rebuilt the carb and took it back to stock settings. It had the needle clip a notch above stock. So in the 2nd notch from the top. And it had a 250 main and stock 32.5 pilot. After I rebuilt it was terribly sluggish didn't want to run. So I...

    HELP!! Blaster probss

I figure I should update you awk. I recently decided to just throw a hail Mary and move the needle clip back to where the previous owner (or whoever messed with it last) had it last. Which was one notch above stock. After installing and setting the air screw back to there wild but I guess...

    HELP!! Blaster probss

Okay I wasn't sure and was nervous about even trying it without figuring it out but after an hour of contemplating I did. I've been at work but I plan to check float measurement and etc after I get home. Any other things I should check while in there? Any way to tell that there's something not...

    HELP!! Blaster probss

I should say the rebuild kit I got was a all balls racing kit. Also it had an o ring in it. My carb never had a spot for an o ring that big to fit. Would it be in the upper part of the carb where the throttle cable runs through? If you can't tell I'm new to 4 wheelers. But I'm decently familiar...
