I would start with a leak test. You need to stay away from the Chinese carbs, if that’s what you’re running. Let’s hear more about your bike; mods, etc

Also, you need to leak test the engine. Probably should actually be #1 on your priority list

I would t use a Chinese carb. OEM Mikuni only otherwise you’ll most likely never run right. Is it the oem carb on it now? If so, you can buy a TORS delete kit. This is probably your issue. I’d start there at least

Good idea. When I had a leak, I stood my quad up on the rear grab bar and just cleaned everything as good as I could with brake cleaner. Then after getting it cleaned off good, I let it just sit there overnight. Next day, discovered my cases were clearly leaking at the split. Long story short...

Of course I would also make certain it is your case halves leaking before splitting. Lol. That would be a big let down to go through all that just to have it leak still

Shift shaft seal, clutch cover. Check your drain plug and assure it has a copper crush washer as well. Those would be my guesses. If it is from the case split, you will want to split cases to re seal; if you do otherwise, it’s most likely not going to solve your issue

The blasters require shifting a lot, from my very short time of owning one. You could count your sprocket teeth. I think stock is 42 tooth rear and 13 tooth front drive sprocket. Don’t quote me on that. I don’t think you need to rejet for aftermarket silencer, but for an entire new pipe you...

I also don’t think it smoked bad until I put gas in it. I was measuring oil and the tube for the syringe fell into the oil so I eyeballed it off the side of the oil jug. May drain the gas and do fresh, correctly measured, and see if there’s a difference. Put a new spark plug in also as the one...

I reset the air screw. Turned it all the way in and then 1.5 turns out. Seems to idle perfect now. Fired up first kick of the day. Smokes real bad. New air filter will be there this evening so hopefully that helps. The one on there is pretty bad shape.
