thanks for the welcome when i got my quad it wasnt running very well, the guy i got it from said the engine was just rebuilt but it wouldnt rev very high or do more than 15 mph when i took the reed out i didnt see the ports so i took the head off and turned the piston the right way but...

which way is the piston supposed to go? with the holes toward the exhaust or the carb?

which way is the piston facing with the ports to the front or towards the carb?
