Yes I read what you posted. But since I do not have a slide puller or a welder and seeing as machine shops are closed on Saturday nights your advice wasn't an option yesterday. But now that the other methods didn't work I will pursue your idea Monday when the machine shop in town opens up.

Dremel cuts grooves but each piece still seems attached. These very well could be the oem's from 98. Heat and pb blaster also proved to be a dead end. What can a machine shop do to help me? Anyone know?

I am attemting to rebuild my front hubs. Everything is apart except I can't get the outer race of either bearing out of the hub. The inner race along with the balls came out leaving the outer race behind. I've tried using a punch to knock them out but there is no lip for it to catch on. I tried...

Used a hammer to beat it off the spindle. This is where I'm at: Don't understand where to go from here.

Front wheel bearings are shot and need replaced. Any instructions on how to do this? Trying to avoid taking it into the shop for something I assume is simple. I have a 98 with the drum brakes.

Will try it in the morning. Any idea what wrench size I'll need or if there's a better option? Also, once I determine what parts I need, I'd definatly be interested.

I need to get the hub itself off (green arrow) Do I do this by somehow removing those nuts (red arrow)??

The sprocket itself does unbolt. But the hub is still held onto the axle by two big nuts.

I've either stripped the splines off the hub or the axle. Will the hub off an 04 fit on my 99?
