Well I borrowed an impact gun to pull this thing off. Keep an eye out for when Its time to pull the crank seal on the other side. Might have more questions for all of you.

Couple questions... Does the nut on the inner basket have standard threads or reverse threads? I was told reverse by somebody but Just want to double check. Also when I was removing the clutch plates a small nut that was welded to a little plate fell out. Is that pin threaded into the nut on...

I got the 28mm OKO and yeah a reed spacer is a must way too much tilt in the carb to get the proper clearance.

If it does work like that I still wouldnt try it on a 2 stroke

Ive heard this too. A guy who has a small shop bought 2 identical quads and ran one hard and putted the other one around to break them in. supposedly the one that was ran hard was way faster after the break in period. I heard this second hand from my foreman at work so I dont know about it.

Who made the 240 kit? that would help alot

lots of tuners dont use dynos until they are done because in the quest for all out power you somtimes forget that numbers dont mean jack squat if the power isnt usable.

I hear you about that I got about half my life on craigslist trying to make ends meet. I will be scoping it out. I know for a fact that a couple of my buddies have some 400ex's sitting around as parts bikes.

No doubt I really wouldnt know much about my blasters suspension It hasnt done much but sit in the garage waiting for parts

Thanks as of right now I do not have the money. I still have to get crank seals and jet my carb. I cant even afford to do that right now. I am just trying to figure out my next purchase after those things are done and it looks to me like 400ex rear shock might be it.
