I run Yamaha lube gear lubeand do you kno were I could,find parts ? I keep changing it everywhere month and only start up and put around in first and second and put it away like twice a month

Hey I have a Yamaha ct2engine on a 1976 100cc frame. It runs like a demon but I have a issue. Everytime I try to shift into third it feels juss like the chain is badly slipping or missing teeth on the gear and then I shift to fourth and its fine but down shifting it gets hung up between 2nd...

I usually use a extra dab of 2 cycle oil in the premix aswell for added lubrication. I juss want my jetting to be right so i dont fry my piston

Yes very true it'd be about almost a 600 dollar lost if I broke it in lean id rather be fat for the entire brake in period juss so I kno wont score my cylinder and then re adjust my jetting with plug chopping after break in period.

And right now the temp is about mid 30s outside and about 50ft above sea level.humidity around 70%

I have a Vitos 240 big bore kit and a dmc alien exhaust front to back stock mikuni carb stock reed valve

How would I go about determining jet sizes on a fresh rebuild besides plug chopping since your not supposed to go wot right off the bat

Why do I have exhaust mounting brackets on both sides of the frame if it came stock from the factory with a single exhaust? I just happens to see them when I was sanding my frame n im curious.
