Well im putting this blaster back together and i was wondering if there is a special type of oil i should run. Will 10w40 be fine or should i use something else this is my first 2 stroke. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am using castrol 10 w 30 2t oil is this good or swich brands cause it is working good in my 660 Raptor.

Well i got it running good finaly first ride on it after getting it 5 months ago. But when im riding it I cant get it to shift any higher than second gear and it goes into nutrule easy and first is a little hard to get in to but if its not running i cant get it through all the gears by rocking...

Well a buddy of mine that was helpin me put the quad back together just told me he might have over filled it. Could this be the cause of my problem? After he called and told me that i went out and checked the oil level and its full so it didint suck all the oil out of the case. Thanks agin.

The reason for the rebuild was it didint have comp. And it is stock besides DG pipe and jeted. And it white smokes a lot but I have only had it running for a few mins. But it is a huge cloud of white smoke. Thanks agin guys.

That makes sense cause after 2 or 3 mins of running the oil was low. And no i havent done a leakdown test what do i need for this and whats involved in doin it.

Well I just got the blaster together tonight and well it starts right first kick has good comp. But ther is black oil shooting all over the rear of the quad its coming out of the back of the silencer and it is running like crap under a load it has a fresh hone and brand new piston and rings and...

Thanks alot guys for the help. That was the problem i un twisted the wires and i had spark stupid me. You guys saved me money and a huge headach.

The key wires are black and black with a white stripe. Wher do i pull the wire out to get rid of the key start. And I dont have a spare cdi so should i just buy on to test. Im willing to try anything at this point and i have cleand all connections and sanded all grounds. Am i supposed to just...

Thanks I will try these steps tomorrow. I also noticed that the oil injection was not hooked up am i supposed to bypass the wires or anything and what should i test the cdi with can i use a test light or do i need something else. Thanks agin guys all help is apperciated.

How do i test the cdi? do i do it when someone is kicking it

The year im not sure but its around mid 90s and the ing switch i just un hooked them from the key and twisted them together. The tors i unhooked the switch in the thumb throtle and un pluged it from the carb and unpluged the little black box under the nose cone. What do you think about the...
