Okay everyone, I’m in need of a little advice please.
It’s been a while, but I’m back on the blaster hype, I have a 2007 (uk still had them in 07) and recently purchased a mint 2003 blaster, like only a few hours on it mint.
Now here is the issue, they both run absolutely fine and idle, but...
Thanks, I’ve heard of people sanding their axles, just didn’t know what the factory coating was or if it was just left bear metal once machined. I’m going for a completely oem build so don’t need to worry about other wheels. This is a restoration to out of the factory condition
Does anyone know what the oem finish is on the axle and hubs? Are they anodised or just machine finished?
I’ve seen good results on the front hubs on a banshee being vapour blasted, but have no idea about the rear hubs and axle on a blaster.
They are a wonderful fun little quad, I think a lot of people overlook them in favour of the Banshee, without ever riding one. They are just so much fun.
Forums have suffered as a whole, it’s a shame because FB just doesn’t seem to be as good to me. A lot of knowledge will be lost when these...
So are there any of the old members still on here? Like those from when this forum was really hitting its stride? It’s been a long while since I’ve been on here, but I’ve just purchased another blaster and it’s rekindled my love of them.
Purchased a genuine 2007 blaster (I’m in the UK and we...
So are any of the old guys still here, I don't mean in terms of age rather those who were here from the early days.
Paulie, Custom89, TJ, Jimmy?
Just thought I would pop in and say hello, still keep my head in the blaster world lol.
Yep I have never had to use the hot start on my 450, and it always starts fine when cold as well so that park it on a hill is stupid. Put it like this if someone said you can swap your 450 for a banshee I wouldn't be snapping their arm off, 2 strokes are fun to ride but personally I prefer...
Which hydro clutch are you going with? I had the streamline kit on my trx and have now gone back to a cable and ASV levers. The hydro clutch was crap and it's not like the clutch is hard to pull with a cable, I do like the idea of having a hydro clutch but even after hours of setting it up and...
Well I would have never thought that would happen, didn't even know that the swing arm was able to travel so much. You have had some crap look mate but I wish you the best with it.
