I left the oil in the so called failed pump didn't disconnect anything... I was told the only thing is it might be a little rich? Sounds like the oil pump might be working. I will disconnect lines, replace plug and try again.

Oil Pump Block Off Kit..... Can a block off kit be installed with engine in frame? What would be recommended ratio of mix, I'm hearing 50:1, 40:1, 32:1. ??

I recently purchased a 01 blaster very low hrs. what a deal!!!! One and a half tanks of gas later engine seized, Yamaha here say's oil pumps don't fail they get contaminated, so the problem is maintenance?? Every thing I read tells me to block off oil pump and mix, but that's what I liked...
