Just download the manual and dig in! It's pretty straight forward....the 4 strokes with cams and valves and timing and such really get to be the pain to get into, but once you can learn an engine and follow the process in which it works, you can rebuild it! I always use a rule of thumb....if i need bolts to go to a certain thing, put the bolts in a baggie and label it where it goes. If not, put the bolt back in the threaded place where it belongs and it will be there later when you get back to bolting it back up. Post plenty of questions...get your answers...and don't be afraid to try it. I've messed up alot of things in my life....so that WILL happen! Everything can be fixed tho!
OCD is good...it comes hand in hand with patience. Patience is the main thing tho. Always use the proper tool for the job....if not you will get frustrated and break things that the wife considers valuable and chase you with a knife and....let's just say it isn't pretty LOL
