Established Members:
Established members are members that have a few extra perks because they contributed something useful to this site. It's actually not hard to become an established member, but it does require some minimal effort... Specifically, you become an established member three days after you register, make at least three posts AND three different existing established members "Like" a post you wrote (asking users publicly or privately for "Likes" will get you banned).Extra privileges that you get when you become an established member:
- You can create threads in the For Sale and Wanted area.
- You can Like content (Liking dumb things to try and help someone become established will get you banned).
- You can have a signature and include one link.
- Ability to vote on polls.
- Start personal conversations with other members.
- Post, comment and manage profile posts.
- Extended time limit on editing posts and media.
- Larger Avatar Limits.
Supporting Members:
This is for people that may want to utilize the marketplace (or other Established Member privileges) without first qualifying for the Established Membership. This alternate route allows anyone to purchase this membership and gain a way to buy/sell things immediately if they must (while still having a barrier of entry that will mitigate spammers/scammers). Regardless of the extra privileges that this adds on top of the basic em privileges, people chose to also acquire this membership just to support and help grow this community.Extra privileges that you get when you become an supporting member:
- Access to a private forum
- Supporting Member ribbon shows on all your post and threads.
- Ability to change user title.
- You can create threads in the For Sale and Wanted area(regardless of being an em).
- You can Like content(regardless of being an em*).
- You can have a signature(regardless of being an em) and include two links.
- Ability to vote on polls (regardless of being an em).
- Start personal conversations with other members (regardless of being an em).
- Post, comment and manage profile posts (regardless of being an em).
