Yfz450r shocks

I had a question about shocks. Would I be able the run 450r shocks on a stock suspension? Any help would be nice.

nope tooo long. it will stress the ball joints, and make them wear faster. the only ones that will fit are blaster shocks, banshee shocks, and i think tectate shocks. only the fronts tho. blasters are 14.25" fyi. u can get aftermarket works elkas ohlins, peps, but they have to be eaither made for those 3 bikes, or 14.25" long fron center of the eye to center of the other eye.

yfz 450 shocks can be used on long travel a arms, and if you get a lowering kit. but yfz450r shocks are too long im guessing.

There very stiff if u get lowering kit.

What about the rear shock can that be used for the blaster that's what I have and for the front i would like a nicer ride but don't want to drop 500 any suggestions ?

400ex rear shock with custom bushing or a honda atc250r rear shock are both good options
