yamaha warrior questions

hi I allready made a thred that I just got it. It has many problems thow and doesnt run. I have some questions about the quad
1. where is the vin and how can I find out the year?
2. the brakes have bin disconnected from the bike because he said they where locked up and they have bin sitting out side for 2 months and there real rusty do you think they will work?
3. is everything from the raptor 350 interchangable with warrior?
4.do you recommend a shock upgrade or are these good shocks?
5. does the rear shock connect to the swing arm or is it on almost like a lowering kit thing cause mine not on the swing arm.
6.there is no keys is is the black/yellow wire and black wire do anything to start it
7. the starters teeth some of them are missing does that mean it screwed up anything inside the motor
8. Can you start the motor without a battry in it using pop start or pull start
9. are warrior hubs are the same as banshee ones?
10.the frame is rusty alitte can its still be powdercoated

Heres a site that will tell you the year by using the 10th digit in the vin when you find it...

I think the stock shocks are good. Never jumped tho.

Yes the shock is connected to something called an "arm relay" I believe its called.

Not sure ive never tried on mine. I dont see why not tho.
9. are warrior hubs are the same as banshee ones?
I imagine they are on the rear. I know the wheels are interchangable between the Banshee, Raptor and YFZ.
10.the frame is rusty alitte can its still be powdercoated
Yes itll just have to be prepped good.
