Has anyone here ever heard of a yamaha DT200 engine swap into a blaster? Has anyone done it, how hard is it to do.

yes everyone has heard of it, the parts are hard to find, search dt200 on the forum, lots of info.
Yes many many people have heard of it. What it is, is a dirtbike motor. Now, the DT200 and yamaha blaster motor are almost exactly the same. The bottom end of the yamaha blaster is the exact same bottom end of the DT200. The only thing that changed was the top end. They liquid cooled the DT200. People have had success with the swap but they are almost impossible to find in the USA. The DT200 created 32 HP stock and 2.7kg-m rorque stock. The yamaha blaster motor created only 17 hp stock. The DT200 motor had almost completely double the HP the blaster motor has.
