I was riding my blaster up a hill at full rev when it seemed like something in the cranks slipped and it bogged down. Whenever i start it, it doesn't idle and when riding from a dead stop, it bogs way down unless i keep the rpms way up. It's nearly impossible to ride it from a complete stop (but i can still run it as long as i keep the rpms up). I may have melted the rings or the gears? any help would be nice. Im only a kid and don't know much about these things.

ill do a compression test later today and get back to ya. i think i may need to get a new piston cus it hasn't been replaced for years and i just recently i began riding it hard. leak test is another good option.

I did a compression test and got 120 psi. I checked the reeds and they were fine. Cleaned out the carb and jets, and the jets are fairly new(stock).

I have vforce 3 reeds with dmc alien exhaust system. I just put in a new 300 jet (stock 230) to see if does anything. Same effect as stock. Im also running a 32:1 mix. Popped in a new spark too and I have a fairly new K&N air filter with no lid.

Hey thanks for your help. I fixed the issue by putting in a new spark. The new spark I put in before must have been fouled because of water.
