yamaha blaster top end help!!!

Here i have is a 2001 yamaha blaster I bought it with a bad crank ect ect... got a new one but couldn't find the old piston, now I'm stuck at trying to find the right size piston I measured the cylinder and it said 2.682 inches can someone help me out please!!!! Been trying to ride since last week....lol

The conversion from in to mm is 68.12mm.

Where did you measure it top or bottom?

Do you have the money for a big bore?

If it is legitimately 68.12mm that cylinder is done worn out, it gonna have to be resleeved to do anything with it.

Chances are if this thing ate the crank the cylinder walls are damaged, also if its 68.12 to make it to 68.25 your gonna be only taking out about .005 no one is gonna be able to take that light of a cut, thats like a heavy hone job

How can you loose a piston?

I have a buddy that can get a new OEM cylinder for $405 direct from Yamaha. Not sure if that's with or without his employee discount, but I'd put that money into an L.A. Sleeve 240 kit.
