my blaster ran out of gear oil the whole bottom end is seized, can i split the case and try and free it up and if i did would i need 2 replace the bearings?

Yea you need to tear it all down and split the cases.Im curious as to what the damage looks like in there so please post pics.

If i was guessing id say for sure new bearrings and possible a new gear set in the tranny.

Most likely if it were me id buy another motor to start building and not risk that one just salvage the useable parts from it for spares and call it a day.

How did this happen? Was it leaking? You break something to lose all the oil like that? Was it gradual or did this happen abruptly?

the tranny oil has nothing to do with whats under the cylinder, the crank, that is lubricated by the fuel/oil mixture
the tranny fluid only lubes the gears and clutch
time to open that clutch cover for an inspection of those parts
