Here's my deal. I bought a blaster for 550 bucks from a guy that was moving. Ran good on the test drive, and never did good again. The guy disappeared. I've been working on getting it back into running shape. After closer inspections I noticed the frame is cracked in a few spots. I'd much rather get a good frame than have to weld and reweld this one until it falls apart.

Stuff I need on this frame:
1. Needs to be an 88-02
2. Needs to have clean and clear numbers
3. Needs to have a title that is transferable to me. In iowa I cannot ride on the trails with mismatching papers or no papers. I don't want a frame with a bill of sale. That is just a headache in Iowa (With a BOS the buyer and seller need to sign and notarize statements etc. Too much to BS with).
4. I will not have money until some time in Feb. I'm just seeing if there is anything out there I can put a deposit on.
5. Needs to be straight and not rusted or bent.

I understand freight will be the biggest issue. Probably around 75-80+ for greyhound and more for UPS or FedEx. I've been trying to find something locally. I would just buy another blaster and part this one, but that's just not in the cards right now after all the money I have put into this one.

If you plan to convert to hydraulic brakes down the road then I would try looking for an 03-06 frame.Alot less fabrication.

I will take one without a title, but I need to know the numbers so I can run them through my DNR to make sure it's registerable. I would only need you to go to your bank and sign and notarize a sheet from the Iowa DNR that you were the owner and it is not stolen. Somebody help me out! I'd like to be riding straight by spring, not on a bent frame.
