Well as some of u may have read about my friend that wrecked the dirtbike. I now have the full story.
Back story:
he tells me he rides alot of ktm 250 so I'm like I got a buddy we will sell u the IT 465. He jumps all over it. For 250 who wouldn't. Well he is out riding with a few folks. He is goin up a hill hits the flat spot and shifts to 3rd. Once he hit the powerband in 3rd the bike comes out from under him lauding him on his head. (yeah no head protection) he is knocked out. They life flight him to the hospital where they struggle to get him stable. After a day he is doing ok. So we all go see him to make fun of him. As soon as we. Walk in he goes dude 100 dollars and u can have the bike back. So I guess we will be getting it back and going to use the swingarm and motor on a go cart project.
Lessons to take from this:
1. When someone ask have u rode before don't lie
2. While riding make sure u got something on ur head. I'm the biggest offender of this on my quad. As soon as I get on a dirt bike I put one on.
3. Don't be a moron and think when someone says it will get away from u that they are joking. (he thought we was using it as a sells pitch lol)
