they do not run off of air, and if he added air, you'll prolly need to have them refilled with new oil, then pressurized with nitrogen to 120-150 psi (?) < a call to works performance will tell you

i'm not a fan of covers (you've got works, why hide them ?)
but they should take regular blaster shock covers if you insist

covers actually increase damage to the shock by rubbing and holding moisture against them, just clean your bike!
