:-/hey guys got a question i hope somone can answer. i just installed a set of asr +3 up1 a-arms. they are for the stock length shocks and everything went well except it seems to sag down a little in the front and is not as stiff. i had works shocks made for my weight and with the stock arms i didnt notice it sagging. i rode it today and the ride is softer but it feels kinda like i'm angled forward on the bike. they dont seem to be adjustable very easy their's nothing to turn like the rear shock. if you push the top cap (that holds the spring on the top) down you can see a some kind of snap ring that fits in a groove on the shock. i think i need to move the ring down but i cant push the top down and move the ring down at the same time. anyone ran into this or could give me some advise.

probably leverage

yep!

you are putting more leverage on the shocks. reset your sag and save up to have them reworked for the new set-up. for now enjoy the plush ride they are going to give. if they are dual or triple rate you might be able to get a stiffer top spring to help with the sagging. call them to see what they recommend. I just noticed that you have 1.5" wheel spacers. if you took them out after the adding the a-arms then it would fairly close and you should be able to adjust. on my elkas though they are set-up for me they are more plush than the stock shocks that were set-up for 150# rider. my guess is that depending on your shock you should be able to adjust out alot of the softness w/o giving up too much. it will never be as good as shocks set-up for your current arms.

okay, then you are introducing more leverage. however, i think that some or most of the softness you are experiencing is from the better quality shocks. my friends daughter @115#'s says that my blaster rides better than hers w/ my elka's set-up for me @280#'s. other than that I dunno :-/
