I have a 2003 yamaha blaster and it will not start without gas poured into the plug hole it will run fine after for along time but it will not start without gas in plug hole what could this be has good compression and getting gas

Ok when I could start it I could shut it off and start it again if the engine was still warm but not very eaisly cold for some reason I couldn't at all

Are you trying to say that it is hard to start when the engine is warm?

Or it is hard to start when the engine is cold?

In the case of the cold engine, apply the cold start button and keep your thumb off the throttle.

If your pilot circuit is out of whack it too will be hard to start.

It's easier to start with the engine warm but still hard and it is pretty much impossible to start cold

read the carb section....if you dont take anything apart then it is not going to fix it self, get one of these small screwdrivers and take pilot jet out,sok it in carb cleaner for like 10minutes,hold up to a light above your head and you shoul;d be able to see through it,or buy a new pilot jet, take float chamber off to get to pilot jet:).....
