wont start???

i got a new motor for my blaster and i put my carb on it and it wont start. it is getting spark and i tried to put gas in the cylinder any clue why it wont start???

reeds broke!, pull them to make sure the pedals are fine, check the spark plug and if it smells really nasty, like burnt porcelain than your not getting the fuel to stay in your cylinder, try removing the air box tube, and kick the bike over with your hand an inch in front of the carb, see if your hand gets fuel on it, isf so the reeds are shot

how do i tell if they are broke? will the spark plug smell even though it wont even sputter?

just pop the carb off. the reeds are between the carb and the jug.
