I rebuilt the top end on my blaster and I can't get it to run good. I messed with the float a little and had to re-adjust it. When I run it, all it does is run in the mid range. When I go to full throttle it just bogs and wont rev up. When I try to go to idle it dies and sort of back fires. I moved the clip up one notch(the very top notch) and it seemed to help out. You can see gas spraying out of the intake of the carb when its running. Should I bend the float tab up some? Should I order the 230 main jet since its cold out? I am out of ideas. Thanks

reeds won't make it run rich or lean , those conditions are dependent on jetting and airflow.
we kinda need more info before this can be diagnosed . What kind of carb ? is it stock ?
whats it jetted at? whats the airscrew setting at?
whats the compression? have you done a air leak test?
have you cleaned the carb thoroughly ? what pilot jet is in it? whats the plug look like?
are you running the stock airbox? or have you modified the airbox?
are you running the stock exhaust? or a aftermarket exhaust?
2 stroke engines have to be adjusted with every modification made . you change the airflow , you must change the fuel to match .
