My power band won't kick in I just got my bike running it was the sater key a 89 cent part I kicked it over and it reved real high like it was gonna run out of gas but there was a lot og gas in it it was almost full so a friend of mine that works in a atv shop he told me the main jet is to small so I put a new jet in it my main is 230 but I put a 170 in because the hole in the 170 was bigger than the 230 but after I put it in it idle out good but now my power band is not kicking in why won't it kick in should I put the 230 back because is was that the idleing screw was in to much that why it was reving so high I think my engine is bored 30 over whould that have something to do with it help me any advice

A 170 main is smaller than the factory 230. You are running really lean now. Higher number, more fuel delivered. Lower number, less fuel delivered.

Yeah lean is not good right I'm gonna put that 230 back but the hole in the170 is bigger then the 230 so if I put that 230 back in will the powerband kick in

with the simi right jetting it should run. maybe not the best, but it will run. the a/f screw is for final adjustments. what mods do you have. if its stock a 230 or 240 should work fine. just because you have a fresh bore does not mean you need to go up a jet.

put a 270 jet and check your air fuel mixture screw this screw is out
