why wont it fit

to clarify is your old sleeve out already? do you have a 240? what does the bore on your old and new sleeve measure?

the old sleeeve is out and its is a stock bore sleeve but it is just smaller diameter wise it is a L.A. sleeve so idk y it doesnt fit right and the stock slleve had thes about .5 inch grooces set about a 1inh up from both ends and the new 1 doesnt

ok now were getting somewhere, howd you get the old sleeve out?, bored right? its possible that you/whoever did the boring took to much out of the cylinder, if thats the case a stk sleeve is useless? a 240 sleeve would require a little more boring but its the only repare that would keep the cylinder outta the trash

sounds like he took to much material out of the cylinder. If you can, I'd send the sleeve back, hop on ebay and buy a stock jug on its first or second bore. Just my 2 cents

i think i know exactly wat he did he cut(not bored) the stock sleeve out. if you do that you see there are 2 or 3 grooves the stock sleeve was held in with. I did this one time cuz someone said the stock one you can press out...wrong so the stock one cracked at about 40,000psi so i had to take a die grinder and cut it out. so im left with a all aluminum jug with no sleeve in it. like someone suggested before could i get a 240 sleeve and would it fit into my jug just so i dont have to trash it?

ya but it said it was suposed 2 fit and y r trying 2 do this because the stock 1 cracked and chiped so we bought a replacement so idk wats happening can i buy a 240 sleeve will that work

absolutly you can put a 240 sleeve in a stock jug, thats why i recommended that as about the only repair i could think of to keep your jug outta the trash

Oh yea it will work 240cc kit there is a lil local on line dealer on my side of town that bores out an puts the 240 in i have a 240 sleeve but my blastie rips just fine but last time i had it apart i matched it up an it looked like it would fit just need to shave back a few ribs on the outside of the jug because they will rub the frame
