who own's suzuki LT80

Here's a mod that makes LT80 clutch maintainance easier. Cut the foot pegs apart and put an insert of some kind (pipe or rod) in the tube so you can remove the clutch side with just the 2 bolts.

I think "LT80" (jack Moore) is the expert. I've got a lot of help from him & others at:

main guestions are this 1 how to change the tranny fluid 2 it runs good but man it smokes alot any advice on maintnace and well any other pointer will be gratly aprciated

hmmm, it smokes alot, idk, mine never smoked alot, only when it was cold, maybe time for rings or a top end?

Sometimes LT80's have petcock problems. Fuel can build up in the case & pipe and smoke till it gets burned off. Maintenance is mostly keeping the carb clean & servicing the clutches. I block off the oil pump & premix. Gear oil drains from bottom plug & fills from top plug.

Should be on top of the case up from the drive sprocket.

cool any one no how much it holds and the smokeing was found some moron put motor oil in the injection....now thats fixed

Use a good 10w30 or 10w40. Only takes a little bit. I use a small hand pump with a tube. It's easy to make a mess trying to fill these. A small funnel might work. Fill till it runs out the side hole.

You can see this 1 hasn't been filled in 10 or 20 years...LOL
