i have owned everything you have listed apart from a ktm quad. through reading on the net ktm quads are good but very unreliable. i had a 250f ktm which was just rebuilt and looked after like a new born child . it was still breaking on me . imo the best quads out there are the ltr for handling/ performance . but for overall a ltz400 as they'r unbreakable and have decent power for a 400. the ltr would spank a yfzr ...just my 2c

yeah man iv got a mate thats just had a ltr 400 built from scratch and hes going out on it this weekend so il know if there quick as he has a crf 450 and he said if he if quad is faster he wil be selling his bike. but i dunno yet might stick to yamaha but il see when time comes :)

at 1.50 us for every 1£ your looking at like 5k us dollars 250£ times 12 is 3000£ so essentially if you spend none of thatoney you can do it I would save and then post about what I should get you got it backwards bro

yeah man lol :D just having a look at what i could get as iv got a few options of a banshee, trx 450, yfz 450 , raptor or a ktm . im not too sure though as iv got a few mates with ktm quads and they hardly have any bother with them apart from pistons etc normal maintenance . but if i have enough by either next christmas or by my 19th i will defo go for a ktm quad. in other words if i make £2000 within next 10 months i may just buy a raptor or a yfz or a banshee within 6 months. im just wanting to have a spare quad along with my blaster so i have something i can use while the other is getting fixed or rebuilt etc :)

I just looked at the KTM site for the UK, you all got stuff I've never seen before. I your listed choices, I want the 525. I've never rode one but if the difference between a KTM525 and an Asian 450 quad is like the difference between at KTM 525 and an Asian 450 bike the KTM is a beast. If KTM would build a quad around a 300EXC based engine I'd break my rule of never borrowing money for a toy and be signing on the dotted line. Of course I don't see it ever happening.

yeah man! iv FINALLY made my mind up lol the money is starting within the next 3 weeks at £200 gpb a month which i save up-to Christmas gives me £1200 and Christmas money which should give me around £1450-£1500. and im going to put another month of so il have around £1700 which i will be either buying a Yamaha banshee and doing both them up next year. or doing up my blaster and getting a banshee next Christmas. still to pick between the two but knowing me i will go for the banshee this year and doing them both up next as when i have more than one motorcycle i am happy as Sh*t! lol :p but the parts for the banshee are reasonably priced compared to my blaster as its £40 for a mitaka piston kit. so i think il go with the option of getting a banshee this year!:) anyone recommend a good LOUD garage alarm as i will need it with both quads. and also iv got a ground anchor in my shed just now chained with blaster i was thinking of doing same with banshee but it means cutting a hole in my floor to cement it. would it be safe enough if i put it on axle stands with wheels off until i got something more permanent?

Ah :) i think im going to go for a ktm quad :P ii love the look of them and they seem good :D hopefully il have one by next christmas :)

the ktm quads sucks my bud had blown his up like 5 times and the transmission went out of it so its just been setting in a shed for 3 years.

i have a trx450r and a trx450er, the best quads i have ever owned besides not having any problems. the rear axle locked up on my 450r one time because i put the bearing carrier in wrong. thats the only problem ive had with it other then regular wear and tear.
