Ok my silencer broke in half while I was riding so now I am forced to get a new pipe and silencer. I don't know which one to get. I am thinking the FMF sst pipe and silencer or the F7 pipe and silencer. If I get the FMF then I get 10% off.

Which should I get or should I be looking at other options.

depends on your riding... look into the type of riding you do.. most sites wil post what there pipe works best for.. also see keendy powered thread on ultimate pipe test... shows what pipe did what in which rpm range.. looking at the dyno sheets should give you a good idea of what to get.. since if you got agood idea what rpm range you spend the most time in than you can decide on what pipe to run

yeah, the f7 is prob gonna give you much better peak power than the fmf. like 4cfed said, pipe decisions depend entirely on what kinda powerband you want and where you spend the most of your rev time. remember that the pipe is the base for all the other mods on your bike. if you get a pipe meant for hi revs and top end power, but your other mods are geared for low or mid range (like trail riding) then you're gonna rob yourself of like half your potential.
i'd say for a large peak (but a steep one, w/ not much powerband other than right at the peak) go w/ the f7.
for strong low end (less peak power, but it gets there a lot stronger) go w/ the shearer pipe.
for something better than stock but not necessarily one of the heavy hitters, get the fmf.
another question, what do your buddies ride? what kinda quads are you having to keep up w/?

Thanks for the great reply. I sometimes ride with a raptor 350 and a couple people have some 400ex's and a trx450r. I want top speed I am changing my gearing to help with topspeed. So would the F7 be the best?

port timing and jetting for a f7 is not going to be near the same for a fmf so dyno testing them on the same engine is a waste of time and inaccurate

If you have a engine set up that works great in the trails; why would it be a waste of time dyno testing different pipes? That to me would be great info to have to choose a pipe that works for your riding condition. I am not sure why you would suggest that it would be inaccurate if your port designs and cylinder head design is in the ball park for a trial engine? Please explain this to us, being around two cycle engines, racing them and having many years dyno testing different port set ups and pipes makes me carious to how you came to this conclusion.
