hey guys just bought my first blaster, i got it cheap because it not running.
i think motor needs rebuilt. it has no compression. i here doing some research, i hope it don't take much to get it going. any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. awesome site

thanks, well i took apart the top end rings are siezed to piston, i got the parts ordered and the cylinder getting bored, it's at .60 right now they going to go .80. it looks like oil injecter went out. I going to see how to eliminate it and pre-mix the gas.

the cycle shop said they like to go .20 at a time? i going to search for vito block off kit. i was reading the article someone did but he didn't include one pic. me being a noob i need pics with the tech articles, that's only problem with this sites tech articles nobody ever includes pics

while i'm waiting on parts i'm gonna clean er up, degreasing parts and touch up paint, then when back together i'll get some pics up, it has fmf pipe, gforce axles, polished aluminum rims, brand new maxis razor tires, i trying to figure out the tranny i push down shifter to 1st it engages, lift to n no problem, then lift up for 2nd, 3rd , 4 and nothing, what do you guys think i was reading about a shift fork, what do you have to do to replace it?

Have you tryed rocking the quad back and forth slightly while trying to shift it into 2nd, 3rd and up.

hey guys, well that jug i had was junk, i found a used one that has low hours and standard size, so i bought a whole bunch of parts off a guy that had them laying around, i got a block off kit, gaskets, jug,head,piston, stock rims tires like new, clutch,brake pads, front sproket, extended swing arm +2, extra heel guards, all for $300
