what size jet

Ok after taring down this motor and finding out that everything in it is still stock I'm going to check and see what size jet I have in my carb. I thing that after putting a pipe and K&N filter on the owner before me, if I had to guess, never changed or adjusted the carb. After pulling the plug out it was kinda a shinny black color and looked a little oily. Here is a list of mods that I know are done now.

Bored .40 with wiseco piston
K&N air filter and I'm going to remove the air box lid
FMF Fatty pipe and power core 2

Everything else is stock for now.

yea u need to go up to like 280 or sumthin maybe higher

black and oily means its too rich, but don't put a smaller one in yet if ur takin the airbox lid off. just take the lid off then run it and get it nice and hot then check the color of the plug.

Black and shinny is to much oil, what mix are you running?
With those mods you should be running a 290-300-310?

naaa he should be maybe a 280-290 at most
