What should I get?

I don't like to race my quads other than with friends just messing around. I had a 660 raptor but I sold it. I have 2 blasters and one I just got it's fast as crap. I got it fixed up after like 4 weeks of having it. I gave my younger cousin my '98 blaster because I liked my new one better and don't have time to ride all those quads + a new one.
I want a new quad though. I was thinking possibly a quadzilla or banshee.
Or maybe a z400. I'd rather have a 2 stroke than 4. And, I'm not getting it for a bit from now.
My requirements are.
-Over 250cc. (Or a 250 bored up)
-Must be a sport quad.
-Must not be, Ktm, Kawasaki, Or Baja.
-Must be within like 4,000$.
-If used, cannot have fenders trimmed.
-If it's not a quadzilla or banshee, must be over the year 2004. (I don't mind used as long as they run better than when first purchased.

250r is a pretty awesome quad. I haven't ridden one but, i watched some videos and those things haul arse

Are they much different than the normal 250?
Like, do the shocks make a decent difference?

the honda 250r is basically legendary. it is a quad that any blaster owner would be happy to own. like i said i haven't ridden it, but one of the shock upgrades for the blaster is a 250r rear shock, and it is suppose to be the best one to upgrade with.

for $4000 around here you can score a set up XC 450. Usually an 06 or 07

They didn't make Quadzilla's after 1992 I do believe... It's a Suzuki LT500r, it's the 250r with a 500 engine essentially.

i say a trx 250r arnt the modern 450 based on its suspesion design and plus there fast some mods and you should be able to blow away 450s easliy

i would say a modded 250r. i would love one of those. if you could find a good deal on a yfz that would be pretty sweet also. i would take a shee over a quadzilla cuz i heard the to big and heavy but i have trouble getting any traction on anything but pavement with my banshee and thats why i dont really like it that much.

but a 250r with a good motor and some a/m shocks would be the bomb!!

Really, theres a guy I race with selling his woods racing YFZ for $3000. I rarely ride fast through the woods but on a quad like that I can fly. Going from the blaster to my brother's set up XC quad is 2 different worlds. Plush suspension, loads of bottom end, stable

Anyways like kungfu said above you can pick up a nice xc set up 450, or a stock one for 1800-2500.... they are just getting cheaper and cheaper.

not trying to call you wrong but here i cant find any 450s that dont have problems listed for less then 2500 and thats with problems im a 2 stroke person id take a trx 250r over just about anything anyday
