What pipe an exhaust to use

Any pipe made for a blaster will fit any year blaster. The best ones being right bend pipes like lrd and f7. Unless you don't plan on many mods, then a toomey would probably be better.

The best pipe on the market for the blaster for all applications except drag racing is made by Power Pro's. Be it an F7, Duncan, Trinity or the other few that have them doing their pipes. The LRD ruined their pipe when they decided to take a short cut in their process and welded theirs together as opposed to their adjustable version, plus with their introduction of the new manifold, try to keep the o-ring in one.

The toomy is a top end pipe, period!!! It is a great quality pipe but will struggle on the bottom thru mid range.

We have tested most pipes because blasters were and are still a big part of our business. I would have thought that when Yamaha discontinued their production that things would slack off. We have found that they have become the new 250r especially overseas.

I know that this might turn into an arguement and I'll apologize now for that, but it is what it is and you will always get the truth from me. We've been there, done it, and are still active in doing it.

pittboss i'm with you on where LRD ruined the adjustible pipes. i have the unjustible one and have had problems it will leak out of the back which i'm gonna get welded to fix the leak, and near the mount it blew the welds out somehow which i'm also fixing. i agree that f7 is one of the best pipes out there. oh and good post! u hit the nail right on the head
