well, check the plug, it may have a problem with jetting, needle might be in the wrong clip, but maybe ur just not used to riding a 2 stroke!

mine has absolutely no bottom end. the stock ones are a little better, but especially once you start modding them, you lose almost all low end, lol. they aren't happy unless they're screamin!

yeah iwas thinking it might be the jetting also but i dont think that is how it is exposed to be running cuz i has to be going like 0ver 20mph on 1st gear in order for it to shift and be ok in 2nd??

slow jet could be to rich, are you experiencing problems in low gears at low and high rpms? where is your throttle lever when you are experiencing this issue...

well i have a twist throttle and unless it ids twisted to about halfway it wont go very well in the low gears gears 4 and 5 are fine but 1-3 are just terrible in the low rpms of the gear if you know what i mean??

until you get it up in rpms? sounds like a slow jet/mixture screw problem and needle jet as well....twist throttle / lever throttle all work the same its just a matter of where in the throttle your at...sounds like 1/2 throttle to full is good but off idle to 1/2 throttle is crap, is this right?

if your running like 20 mph in 1st then I dont think your actually starting in first. sounds to me your starting in 2nd and its bogging down.
