im buying an 06 blaster with :
k and n air filter
v-force 3 reeds
reed spacer
jetted carb to match accessories
wiseco piston and rings
full toomey chrome exhausst
40t and a 44t rear sprocket
oil injection block off kit

and was wondering what mix of gas and oil should i should use running these mods? also what octane would be best?

oh yeah run nothing but supreme in mine, wanna get some jet fuel! try that on for size! probably could have snagged a bit from my old boat, sh*t!

haha jet fuel would be sick. by the responses i think im gonna run 93 octane at 32:1 with idk what type of oil yet but definitely something good

Just cause you run higher octane of gas doesnt mean ne thing unless you run massive amounts of compression. The higher amount of octane and lower amount of comp. is going to slow your motor down due to more octane needed to be burnt. Wouldnt try to run it with your mods ecspesially cause your not running a whole lot more comp. over stock

i started with some weak ass 87 octane the first tank never again after i read on here to run the good sh*t. 93 ever since and its way better. and dont go to Autozone and buy friggin 2stroke (weedeater) oil.

the difference is it runs cleaner and you won't have gunk build up in your carb or your cylinder, running a low octane in a carb is not reccomended, just because it fouls easily, use premium, save you the headache over time.

I would use the highest octane pump gas that you can get. if that is 91 then get 91 if its 93 then use 93. Also try and stay way from gas companies that use ethanol in their gas....so pretty much use chevron or shell.

i also run 32:1 in all my machines, 93 octane mixed with Amsoil HP and have always had good luck, after tearing down my engines for rebuilds theres always minimal carbon buildup as well.

i use 93 octane and the oil i use for my jet skis its (NMMA - TC-W3) 32-1 i haven't had any problems yet. i used yama-lube2-R before i haven't seen a different between the two.

in NY they put 10% of ethanol in all gas.. but im not sure about your area... on my boat we have to rebuild/something replace the carb every year.. the ethanol drys everything out and leaves a fine powder that clogs everything.
